1. Who we are
DUXAU LLC is a web design studio based in New Jersey, owned and operated by Joelina and Marjorie ("DUXAU," "we," "us"). This policy explains how we handle information collected through duxau.com, our forms, our booking page, our checkout and our conversations with you.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details: your name, email address and phone number.
- Business details: your business name, what you do, your current website or domain, license or registration numbers you choose to share, colors, and other details you put on our forms.
- Photos and files: links to photos, logos or other content you share for your website.
- Booking details: the time you pick and the answers you give when you book a call with us.
- Billing details: your name, business name, billing address and phone number at checkout. Your card or bank details go directly to Stripe, not to us.
- Messages: emails, texts and call notes when you contact us.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. We use Google Analytics, which uses cookies to tell us how visitors find and use our site. This information is used in summary form to improve our website.
3. How we use your information
- To build your free website preview and your final website
- To contact you about your preview, your project and your account
- To schedule and hold calls you book with us
- To process payments and manage your subscription
- To provide the services in your plan, such as updates and Google Business Profile management
- To keep our website and services secure, and to meet legal and tax requirements
We don't send marketing messages unrelated to your project unless you've agreed to receive them, and you can opt out anytime.
4. Who we share it with
We never sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed:
- Stripe — payment processing and billing
- Google — email (Google Workspace), calendar booking, hosting (Firebase) and analytics (Google Analytics)
- Formspree and file tools — the service that delivers our website form submissions, and tools that store files you share with us
We may also share information if required by law, or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.
Information that will appear on your own public website (like your business name, phone number and photos) is published there because you asked us to.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your information while we're working with you and for as long as needed for billing, tax and legal records (generally up to 7 years for payment records). Preview requests that don't become projects are deleted within 12 months, or sooner if you ask.
6. How we protect it
We use secure, encrypted connections (SSL) on our website, reputable providers for hosting and payments, and two-step verification on our business accounts. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we have about you
- Correct information that's wrong
- Delete your information (except what we must keep for legal, tax or billing reasons)
- Stop contacting you about anything other than your active account

8. Cookies
Our website uses only the cookies needed for it to work, plus Google Analytics cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
9. Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date, and email active clients about important changes.
